The information contained on this website is provided by Valley Financial Advisors, LLC ("VFA," "we," "us," or "our") for general informational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information presented, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information on this site.
The content on this website does not constitute and should not be construed as professional tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any other form of professional consultation. Any reliance you place on information found on this website is strictly at your own risk.
Browsing this website, submitting a contact form, or communicating via email does not establish a professional relationship between you and Valley Financial Advisors, LLC. A formal professional relationship is only established upon execution of a signed engagement letter by both parties.
Valley Financial Advisors, LLC prepares tax returns based solely on the information, documents, and records provided by the client. We do not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of documents submitted to us, including but not limited to W-2 forms, 1099 forms, receipts, business records, and other supporting documentation.
The client is solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided to VFA is accurate, complete, and current. VFA shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, penalties, interest, or additional taxes resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the client.
Federal tax returns are filed under penalties of perjury. By signing your tax return, you — the taxpayer — are certifying that the return is true, correct, and complete to the best of your knowledge and belief. The Internal Revenue Service holds the taxpayer legally responsible for the accuracy of their filed return, regardless of who prepared it.
Any penalties, interest, or additional taxes assessed by the IRS or any state taxing authority are the sole responsibility of the taxpayer. VFA is not responsible for penalties or interest resulting from underpayment of estimated taxes, late payment of taxes due, or inaccurate information provided by the client.
Valley Financial Advisors, LLC will not file any tax return, extension, or document on behalf of a client without the client's explicit authorization. All returns are reviewed with and approved by the client prior to submission, except in time-sensitive circumstances described below.
In certain time-sensitive situations — particularly when a filing deadline is imminent and the client is not immediately reachable — VFA may need to take protective action on behalf of the client, such as filing an extension, to avoid a missed deadline and the associated penalties. Such actions are taken in the client's best interest and are consistent with standard professional practice. VFA will notify the client of any such action as promptly as possible. By engaging VFA for tax preparation services, the client acknowledges and authorizes VFA to take such protective measures when necessary to protect the client from missed filing deadlines.
Filing an extension of time to file (Form 4868) extends the deadline to submit the return — it does not extend the deadline to pay any taxes owed. Any tax balance due remains payable by the original filing deadline. The client is responsible for making any required payment by the original deadline regardless of whether an extension has been filed.
Bookkeeping and financial reporting services provided by Valley Financial Advisors, LLC are performed based exclusively on the information, records, bank statements, receipts, and documentation provided by the client. The accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports prepared by VFA are directly dependent on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.
Bookkeeping services provided by VFA do not constitute an audit, review, or compilation of financial statements as defined by professional auditing standards. VFA does not independently verify transactions, confirm account balances with third parties, or provide assurance on the accuracy of financial information. Our bookkeeping work product should not be relied upon as a substitute for an independent audit or professional financial review.
The client is responsible for providing all relevant financial records and documentation on a timely basis. VFA shall not be liable for errors, omissions, or misstatements in financial reports arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information provided by the client.
All financial decisions, including but not limited to business expenditures, payroll, tax payments, and cash management, remain the sole responsibility of the client's management. VFA does not make management decisions on behalf of the client and is not responsible for the business outcomes of decisions made based on financial reports we prepare.
